'Something Blue' Dunzo

I like superstitions, so I've decided to follow the tradition of wearing 'something old, something new; something borrowed, something blue' for the wedding.

I just found my something blue in the form of some pretty earrings. Score.

Hemimorphite and Aquamarine

I was looking up what that custom even means. I figured I should know if I'm going to follow through with it. This is what Ask Yahoo! told me:
+ 'Something old' symbolizes continuity with the bride's family and the past.
+ 'Something new' means optimism and hope for the bride's new life ahead.
+ 'Something borrowed"' is usually an item from a happily married friend or family member, whose good fortune in marriage is supposed to carry over to the new bride. The borrowed item also reminds the bride that she can depend on her friends and family.

+ 'Something blue' symbolize love, modesty, and fidelity

That's kind of nice. Love, modesty, and fidelity for the bargain price of $29.99 from Banana Republic Clearance.
