Gabby's Wedding Invites + Images

This is a super belated post... my best gal pal just got married in September. Back in January, she asked me to design an invitation set, which was really, really fun. It's very rare that I do print design nowadays, so I love when I get the chance. And I got to letterpress them.

Her wedding ceremony was at this beautiful cathedral in the Polish neighborhood of Cleveland where her dad grew up and the reception at a country club outside of the city. The whole day had a very traditional and luxe feel to it. It rained for maybe twenty minutes -- enough to get some really pretty umbrella shots (below), then it was clear and beautiful for the rest of the day. The photographer* did a beautiful job capturing the day.

Granted, I am a little biased, but it was the most fun I've ever had at a wedding. It beat-out my aunt's wedding where I convinced the band to play "Shout" three times during the night (six-year-old me thought that was pretty awesome).

Super ornate cathedral; the Poles don't mess around

Every picture of me alone was put in black & white.
Thanks for the self-esteem boost, photographer
